Inspired by the new modern classic Sci-Fi film, Iron Man, we present the Iron Man~Mark I~Maquette. Sidehow Collectibles has Perfectly captured Tony Stark’s first generation of Iron Man armor in this unique, weathered, crude metal suit.In the film, we are introduced to Tony Stark, world famous billionaire industrialist, genius inventor & high-tech weapons manufacturer. When he’s not hawking the family business, he fills his time with fast toys, beautiful women & high octane fuel! As a military guest & adviser to a war torn country, Tony is attacked & kidnapped by a radical faction group. He suffers life threatening injuries to his heart and is saved by a fellow prisoner/doctor. His captors know of his identity and demand that he build devastating weapons for their cause using his own companies products. Instead, using his intelligence & ingenuity, Tony builds an indestructible, rocket-powered suit of armor named affectionately the “Mark I” & escapes his captors. When he returns home he uncovers a hidden agenda involving his company with global terrorism implications & decides to change the focus of his company to the dismay of his partner as well as the military. He also decides to take matters into his own hands with his obsession of his previous armor suit creation.
